One Who Cares

when my road is growing dark
i'll know, you hold the light
help me through this ersatz night
give my hope the kindling spark.

few in this world could understand
the world i see is not their own
and yet, i do not stand alone
as you lead me through a forgien land.

you, who help me when i fall
when my world collapes broken
its you who helps, with words unspoken
you who helps to heal all.

hundreds pass us every day
some like me, a silent creature
some like you, the paitent teacher
but i wouldn't have it another way.
